If you didn’t know already, Thursday October 5 is World Teacher’s Day.
To celebrate, teachers in Dubai can get two-for-one drinks at Mezzanine Bar & Kitchen in Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
All you need to do is turn up to the bar (which overlooks the Burj Al Arab) and show your teacher ID.
The Teacher’s Day deal will see a special menu of drinks rolled out including hops, grape, mixed drinks and soft drinks. The two-for-one offer will run throughout the day.
Non-teachers can also make the most of the happy hour from noon until 7pm, which sees drinks start from Dhs29.
Planning to grab some dinner while you’re there? Thursdays at Mezzanine Bar & Kitchen is curry night. From 6pm until 11pm you can get a starter, main and house drink for Dhs125.
The regular menu has a mix of international bites including momos, wild mushroom risotto, beef bourguignon and a number of pub grub classics. You can also order classic dishes such as sausage and mash, shepherd’s pie and coronation chicken skewers.
